This Sweet Potato, Apple & Bell Pepper Puree combines the comfort of sweet potatoes with the sweetness of apples while introducing bell peppers or capsicums!
Sweet Potato Puree and Apple Puree were two of the first purees I made and gave Hanky Pank. They’re both nutritious, delicious, and easy on baby’s tummy. And for busy parents, they’re both quick and easy to make!
The combination of Sweet Potatoes and Apples is wonderful puree on its own. It combines the comfort of sweet potatoes with the sweetness of apples. But it is also a good way to introduce bell peppers, or capsicums as they’re otherwise known. I used an orange bell pepper in my puree, but you can also use red pepper. In addition, feel free to add a pinch of cardamon.
