Avocados and Bananas
Jump to recipe
Avocados are such a staple in our house. I swear our motto should be “Put an avocado on it!” (resemblance of “Put a bird on it!” for any Portlandia fans). It’s on toast, in salads, made into guac, on it’s own. Bananas also seem to always be on the counter.
So it’s not a surprise avocados and bananas were among a few of Hanky Pank’s first foods. And they’re so easy to make into baby food. Just mash them up! But consistency is key. I started by mixing mashed avocados or bananas with breastmilk or prepared formula. Now that he is a little older, I just give Hanky Pank mashed avocado and banana, usually directly off my own plate.
