Broccoli & Potato Baby Food Puree
This Broccoli & Potato Puree makes a delicious baby food that tastes like mashed potatoes for baby!
Life is full of surprises, big and small, good and bad, oftentimes when we least expect it. This week I got a small but not so great surprise. My hair is BLUE!!!
So how did this happen? Like many surprises, it happened by mistake. My hairdresser, who has been doing my hair for 7 years and does an amazing job, tried a new toner that apparently on steroids. Now I’m not going to lie, I love gray-blue-violet hair. It’s stunning. But here’s the thing, I’m not that trendy. And here’s the other thing, we have family pictures THIS WEEKEND!
Needless to say, I’ve tried 2 DYI hair treatments, washed my hair 6 times in 2 days, and exchanged 25 texts with my hairdresser. Repeat after me, I will not have blue hair this weekend, I will not have blue hair this weekend. Fingers crossed!
What could this possibly have to do with Broccoli and Potato Puree? Well this puree is surprisingly delicious, like mashed potatoes! I was shocked. And it’s a good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, folate, and fiber from the broccoli and potassium from the potatoes. So while I love making this for Hanky Pank, sometimes I double the recipe so we can have some too!
