Peanut Butter
Homemade Peanut Butter is super easy and quick to make while allowing you to have full control over what’s added.
Ever since I met my husband I talked about getting a “nice” blender. And that I always wanted a food processor. So when he got me a Ninja Blender, I was equally excited… And a little nervous. Did I really need this much blender?
Well today I made my own Peanut Butter and was so delighted with the results. Not only did my “nice” blender make it possible, but I was blown away by how easy it is to make Peanut Butter. Similar to Date Paste, this post is more of a how to than a recipe.
The best thing about making my own peanut butter is I have full control over what’s added (or not) and how much. When I’m making peanut butter as an ingredients to use in other recipes, I’ll just stick with peanuts. But if it’s peanut butter for everyday use, such as making PB&Js or eating off a spoon as my husband likes to do, I’ll add a little bit of sweetner, such as Date Paste, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. So let’s get going on making our own PB!
