Prune Puree Baby Food
Prunes, prunes, the magical fruit
The more baby eats, the more he poops
The more he poops, the better he feels
So baby has prunes every day!
When I was pregnant, no one told me how much my husband and I would end up talking about Hanky Pank’s poop. “Did he poop today?” is right up there with “How was your day?” Introducing solids only added to the conversation as he would sometimes experience constipation and subsequently become fairly fussy. We give Hanky Pank a small serving of prunes every day to keep things moving. Grandma found out the hard way that too big of a serving make things move a little too fast! In addition, we also try to give him another P fruit once a day, usually pears. See my pear recipe here.
