Strawberry Banana Greek Yogurt
This 5-minute Strawberry Banana Greek Yogurt is packed with protein and sweetened with dates.
Greek Yogurt is a bit of bugaboo for me. I want to love it – It’s packed with protein, full of probiotics, and a good source of calcium. That said, I don’t really like eating yogurt. I find plain yogurt to be a bit too tangy and flavored yogurt tends to have added refined sugar. Plus, the texture is a little offputting to me. But I want to love it..
More importantly, I want Hanky Pank to have a chance to love it. I started with full fat plain yogurt. Then I added two of his favorite fruits – strawberries and bananas. Last, I sweetened it it just a bit with a few dates. And there you have it, easy peasy homemade flavored yogurt.
So what did my little taste tester think? He loved it! An added bonus is this homemade yogurt works great in reusable pouches so we have another snack that is ready for a toddler on the move!
